Adverb Word Bingo

Word Bingo is the best way to help them to understand and remember the vocabulary. Play this game a number of times

Provide a question and answer small group activity. The students appreciate having the answers to the questions provided in small print at the side of the page. This allows them to correct each other as they work in a small group. When we first offered the questions in this way, we gave them out printed on separate papers that we planned to collect at the end of the class. Before the papers were all collected the students asked if they could have a copy. They told us that they wanted to practice with their friends at home.

Successful ESL was created out of our first company, Learning English With Laughter which began in 1990 when we, George and Daisy Stocker, traveled to the historic city of Karlovy Vary in Czechoslovakia, to teach English in a private language school.
